After attaining her BSc with double major (Biochemistry and zoology) and honours in 2001 from the reputed Mumbai University, Dr. Akanksha went ahead to do Masters in the same University in the subject of her passion - Clinical Embryology and Biochemistry and came out with Distinction in 2003. She then worked as a senior embryologist at an IVF Centre of repute - Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai for almost ten years. Highly scientifically acclaimed, Dr. Akanksha has more than 30 scientific manuscripts published in International Journals to her name.

Always fascinated and interested in medical research, she pursued and attained her degree of PDCR (Professional Diploma in Clinical Research) in 2011. But the star of her career was pursuing Masters at none other than the University of Oxford at Oxford,UK in 2011 - 2012. In spite of being thoroughly experienced and proficient in embryology, she went to Oxford not just for the sheer fact that she was the FIRST SELECTED CANDIDATE FROM INDIA but also because of her passion in inculcating newer insights and brining International expertise back to India to benefit countless childless couples.
